The Teddy series is not stocked on the shelves of most big-box bookstores, so many parents and grandparents end up searching online. This guide covers where to look, how to choose between sets and single books, and what to check if you are buying secondhand.

Where to buy Teddy books
| Where | What you get | Watch for |
|---|---|---|
| Caring Parents’ Choice | New hardcovers: singles, both five-book sets and the Complete Collection; free US shipping on sets; gift orders shipped with no prices on the slip | US shipping only |
| Amazon and other marketplaces | Listings from different third-party sellers | Check the seller, condition and whether a “set” is really all five books |
| eBay and resale sites | Used or gently used copies | Missing books, wear, writing inside, shipping cost |
| Local libraries | Free to borrow, if your library carries them | Availability varies; ask about interlibrary loan |
Sets or single books? The real math
| Option | Books | Price | Shipping in the US |
|---|---|---|---|
| One single book | 1 | $16.99 | Standard rate applies under $69 |
| Three single books | 3 | $50.97 | Standard rate applies |
| Volume 1 set or Volume 2 set | 5 | $69.99 | Free |
| Complete Collection | 10 | $109.99 | Free |
Three singles cost almost as much as five books in a set once shipping is added. If you want more than two titles, a set is the better buy; if you want both volumes, the Complete Collection beats buying the two sets separately.
New or used?
| New | Used | |
|---|---|---|
| Condition | Clean pages and spines, ready to gift | Varies; check photos of the actual copies |
| Completeness | Every title in the set | Sets are sometimes missing a book |
| Returns | 30-day returns with us | Often final sale |
| Best for | Gifts and keepsakes | Extra copies for a classroom or second home |
